The Unplanned Path

lilmoonxx

We didn't have a map, and we didn't have a plan,

just the loose change rattling in the palm of my hand.

The sidewalk is cracked but the sky is wide,

with nowhere to go and nothing to hide.

It’s a brand new rhythm, a different beat,

finding the magic in a dead-end street.

This could be anything from loose time with a friend to eloping with a lover with no place to go and no money. Well done
