Lost crimes

Maplespal

Operational information in the file,
beneath the dusted papers of time.
The letter head of a forgotten style,
an account of a Government crime.
Forgotten in a dusted cabin long gone,
to the drift of dead family genes.
The sun lights the papers lines each dawn,
when was the last time this was seen.
