In Another Life

Kora

In another life
We are on a sofa,
Listening to
Only love songs.
I am giggling
Because of a kiss,
Right on the nose.
Your hands are warm,
Though mine
Are cold (as usual).
I will shiver
As you reach out
To hold them,
Bringing them
To your lips,
Warming them
With your breath,
While I smile,
Loving you,
In another life.

I have always wondered why it is so difficult to take the desired fantasy and make it real. What keeps us from that other world if not desire.

    • Kora

Honestly? For me it's reality. It's a long story, hard to explain, but I very much doubt it'll ever become real.
Not through lack of love, but through the choices I've made in life.
Sometimes things just aren't meant to be, no matter how beautiful they are.
Mono no aware, as the Japanese say.
For some, the dream of another life is all we'll ever have.

I have had many dreams in life that were never possible or ever happened so you make dreams out of what is possible and make them happen.

I truly hope I can ♥️ Thank you Soren, I needed to hear that today.
