The Library Girl

Kevin Hulme

I once knew a girl called Cynthia Pate,

We'd leave from her Home for our usual date.

As she worked in a Library to earn some pay,

(A job that started at the break of day)

I'd receive a small fine for taking her back late.

Cute and fun I always had serious talks with my daughter's boy friends about this subject and it seemed to work

A likely story, but taking it on face value, in your position I would consider a small fine a small price to pay if Cynthia was a sweetie....

Yes. Being in a Library she was well 'Stacked' and I had to 'Check her out' etc.

Oh well fielded there Sir...... but not too much fiddling and fumbling in the long grass will yer....

Kevin, this made me smile right away…light, playful, and just well-timed. That closing twist lands exactly where it should. It’s fun without trying too hard. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦‍⬛
