being a slave… sigh
can dry up anyone’s well
but my love… I’m free

Love they say can set you free or enslave you choose
Are you currently in love Soren?
I am always in love with something Demar, life, nature, certain people
I know what’s it like to feel trapped whilst in love, it’s not a pleasant feeling. I’m assuming whatever had you feeling caged is no longer, I’m glad you could get away from it. Sometimes I wish I still had someone but it’s nice to not have to worry about it, wonderful haiku Demar.
Thank you Allie, sometimes I struggle between wanting to live life like a bachelor and then fulfilling my duties of love. Still I understand the importance of keeping my word.. I appreciate you A
I understand that struggle, love is a tough journey. I appreciate you too Demar.
Demar, this carries a sharp contrast…that weight of being “a slave” and then the shift into “but my love… I’m free.” That final line doesn’t erase the struggle, it rises above it. It’s simple, direct, and it lands. Well done, my friend. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛
You know my style TRL, appreciate you as always.
