Is there such a thing as too damaged for His purpose? Let’s take just a moment to ponder on this? God used many a man and woman to help others out darkness; He knew who would deny him and betray Him. Still He turned it into a deep meaningful purpose. See; God knows the heart; He doesn’t go by outward appearances; He knows your very thoughts before you even reveal them. Many in the Bible had an ugly, sinful past; He has given us the gift of free will; a test He hopes we will pass. How do we pass such a test if we think we’re too damaged to be used? By taking up our cross daily; repenting of sins; trusting Him in guiding you. Many woman in the Bible were shunned by many in society; His word says; “we are all fearlessly and wonderfully made.” “Come unto me.” One man denied Him a total of three times. Still God used this man to bring others to the light. He was betrayed by one of His own family. Still He had a final supper with Him anyway. He died so each of us could live. We need only the Faith and courage to turn to Him. Too damaged for His purpose? Only God knows our very hearts; He only asks us to turn away from sin, follow Him daily; and forgive those who have tried to tear you apart. We will fall; we will stumble; we will hurt again and again; each time this happens, we learn deep spiritual lessons. When God is all you have understand you have all you’ll ever need; so bring Him all your pain; and allow Him inside to lead.
