Tristan Robert Lange

Notice of absence from Tristan Robert Lange
Friends, I’m doing my best to keep up with comments. 😅 I’m still current on my own poems and first replies on others’ work, but this season has been a bit of a twister. Figured I’d drop a quick note so you don’t think I’ve vanished or gone flaky.
Read. Write. Rise. Realize. 🤘💀🖤
what happens
when you step
out of the light
and into the

unknown?

you won’t know
until you do

and,

before you reply,
how did you get

here?

The unknown is threatening to most thrilling to some and a regular part of life to a few. I tend to prefer the darkness where most everything is unknown. A lovely write my friend

Soren, this is a beautiful reflection…you meet the poem right where it lives. That tension between threat and thrill is honest, not forced. I appreciate how you let the unknown stand without trying to resolve it. 🌫️🌈🕳️🙏

        You are welcome Tristan

I reckon its all to do with portals .. you know, like them round shaped little window things set in rows along the side of big ocean going ships 🚢⚓🛳️🖤🐦‍⬛🐈‍⬛😎🐧👍

        • Tristan Robert Lange

Neville, haha…portals is a great image. I can actually see that…those little windows into something else. Appreciate you, my friend. 🌫️🌈🕳️🙏

Now ya know I'm gonna say this - my answer is: I dunno - it'll be dark; I won't see a thing; so put that light on! Who turned it off?! lol. Probably Popeye did, so we wouldn't see him...... and don't finish that! lol.

          • Tristan Robert Lange

Haha, Orchidee…of course Popeye did it 😄 gotta keep things in the dark for his grand escape. I’ll flip the light back on for you…but beware the GREEN. Why? WCAT...just coming across the airwaves. 🌫️🌈🕳️🙏

            Very clever 🤣

            • Tristan Robert Lange

LOL! Right?!?! Begs the question at least! 🤣 🌫️🌈🕳️🙏

You catch a glimpse of another you until just before the unknown crowds that out🕊️🙏🏻

              • Tristan Robert Lange

arqios, I like where you took this…makes me wonder if those glimpses are the real thing, and everything else is what gets in the way. Always appreciate you, my friend. 🌫️🌈🕳️🙏

                • arqios

                  A worthy investigation 🕊️🙏🏻

This to me is describing a Baby being born.
Into the strange World. Maybe something to different people.

                  • Tristan Robert Lange

Kevin, I appreciate this take…seeing it as a beginning rather than just an unknown changes the whole feel. And you’re right…these things can mean something different depending on who’s reading. Always grateful for your perspective, my friend. 🌫️🌈🕳️🙏

                    Too late, Mate😢

                    • Tristan Robert Lange

Dave, I get that feeling…like whatever answer there was has already slipped past. Been there more than once. Always appreciate your time and thoughts. 🌫️🌈🕳️🙏
