Shred you said. I thought: what's that got to do with a toaster?
(Who designed this masterpiece? With the narrow crumb tray, expertly positioned between the toast slots..fantastic idea, hardly catches any crumbs, they fall down into the false floor.):
Vigorous shacking couldn't shift 'em; *I should have went to bed:)
Then I thought: are they that smart?...can't I see?...is something missing?
No. It's just shred.
I'll Yanco that!
That's the thing, the world sells crap..
There are many levels of coarse: garbage; for a more discerning taste..
Up to the neck, down to the toes: draped in filthy rags: the Emperor has no clothes. .
Now, I always attempt to keep it short, but the toaster?
Serious sport..
(I almost convinced myself (that the now) compacted crumb base, might help with the thermal dynamics of this high class home appliance) it had been working well, before my nightcap.
Anyway, if I listen, this goes through my head..where is the quality, or integrity for that matter?
I know it's out there, but who can see it?
Well, if the best things in life are free...lead me to the waters, let me rest in these...
A worthy life has many battles, without them there's no crown...
And after all that we've been through, will a toaster make me frown?
You see, I want to see the best in things, and believe what believer's do...
But to look into the heart of man, must be a grisly view..
To hear the wolves all howling, peddling their wears: money chaser's scrounging; rip-offs in the air..
My composer is lost: and found...
Don't let the barstools get you down, it's just a toaster, get another!
You can't go back to the 1950s -
Bugger:(

My friend, this got me…what starts as a toaster rant turns into something way bigger. It’s chaotic in a good way, like your thoughts just running and not holding back. Well done! 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛
I have to agree this is such a common occurrence built into product production in order to increase sales and cut production costs. All a bottom line issue for the shareholder and short term profits. Acceptable to the buyers because it gives good excuse to replace old with new every year or so for remodeling and keeping up with the neighbors. Good write
