Tiny Paws, Big Joy

Matthew R. Callies

Soft nose nudges hand,

Whiskers tickle, tail a whip—

Morning laughs begin.

Eyes like chocolate drops,

Curled in a sunbeam, they dream,

Chasing endless fields.

Little paws pat softly,

Heartbeats echo gentle love,

World feels bright and warm.

Matthew, this hit me soft in the best way…there’s a warmth here that settles in immediately. It feels like quiet joy made visible…simple, steady, and real. Loved it. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦‍⬛
