The tree grew

ann hegg

The tree grew

Just like how their hatred grew .

They forgot about the young heart

Which is still fragile.

The fragile heart learnt how to

Act ,

Lie

Which he practised more than the equations he learned .

later on

He realised words were powerful

But experience and realization teach us more than what words could convey.

He wanted to leave

The urge for him to leave

Was same as the urge of a peel of a ripen fruit to seperate.

The tree still grew with the boy

The boy later on realised that some stories makes us think more than a novel .

The tree shed its leaves in fall

Just like how the let go of his beloved and belongings .

The tree flourished in spring just like how the boy had his sparks.

And the trees leaves changed its colours in autumn

Like the boy who learnt something valuable.

The trees leaves acted on, while its strong trunk stayed strong .

A lovely poetic allegory full of metaphor and tale gives its message of leaving the past and all its baggage to grow and live. Well done
