- Comment from author about the poem: Growing up poor as a kid is an interesting foundation, since I had nothing I had nothing to lose so I was always honest and understanding and generous to who was around me. Now as an adult having all my needs met monthly I have nothing to lose so now I’m always honest, understanding and still generous.

Hope it comes soon Demar.
I wonder what to do with it… I’m really a simple man these days
Enjoy it
My friend, more than some…less than many. I do know what it means to live paycheck to paycheck…to not have enough to make ends meet. That reality sticks with you. Well done on this. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛
Life is truly the best teacher
I can totally relate to this fine poem! Kudos!
I appreciate you
I won’t let poverty steal my joy, even though it’s be nice to afford some luxury items every now and then lol
Exactly, the most finest things in life don’t even cost money, but I definitely enjoy finer food
Haha seeiously
