Hell of a Mind
Everytime you do something
You expect something outta me
What if I really just don't care about you, see
What if I do but you don't see what I do.
You don't do it too and thats what kills what's left inside o' me.
The side of me that cares if you're hurting but not if you're not.
The side of me that'd do anything except untie a knot.
The side of me that makes you soar
The side of you that makes me sore.
The side of us I had once saw
And gave up on all your warmth.
The side that slid down the slope and off a cliff away from help
Away from both sides yet still feel yours.
You carved a pain into the cliffface
For me to feel for the rest of my days
For me to fill the rest of my pain
To age badly with cracks and stains.
All from one singular angel.
For a demon is an angel that broke inside me.
I don't blame you, I blame me for staying.
I don't blame me, I blame you for making
My life hell before I had got the chance to make a change.
But now I'm gone I am so done
And this thing I saw so long ago
Which I gave up so long ago
But never truly forgot so long ago
Is so long ago
So long
Please go.
I'll never forget but I am hoping something inside me will grow.
For an eternity I've never lived.
For an eternity I shall live slow.
For the devil inside me is the angel of you that had burnt my insides and built them anew
It is not you.
It is me that keeps fueling the blaze in my maze of a mind
In my heart I had screwed with hope that hope I will soon find.
In my Hell of a mind

An angel is nothing but a devil reformed and a devil is nothing but an angel fallen. Well written it expresses frustration and pain over injury there is sadness here. Nicely penned
