I was thinking about this lately too. I was grateful for the people willing to do the hard and gross jobs of the world.
I was a “garbage collector” for five years. Thought of myself as a garbage man. Truly the worst job I ever had. Alcoholism and a suicide attempt involved. Thanks for the considerate recognition.
