Desertification

Mutley Ravishes

Spice Arrakian

The jaws of temptation

Insatiably hunger

For your sweet power

Desert aridness

Is all that`s left

Once they`ve taken you down

Into the depths

This brings the image to mind of Dune or even Star Wars but still its meaning lies deeper. Nicely written

I love the work of Frank Herbert (and not just the Dune series). Herbert said, indirectly, that Star Wars "borrowed" a lot of his ideas. I like Star Wars too!

Mutley, this carries a quiet brutality…a hunger that takes and takes until only emptiness remains. The descent feels inevitable, and the aftermath feels stripped bare. There’s a real weight to that kind of loss. Powerful work. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦‍⬛
