unWasted memory

Bloomingcereus

We snuck away to enjoy the moonlight

Shared a kiss we thought no one knew about

unnoticed another followed right behind us

I hope they’ll remember that joyous memory for us

A chance for it to live on forever

Just like the faint kiss I wished had stayed.

A lovely poem. Your poem explores themes of fleeting romance, nostalgia, and the desire for memories to endure beyond their moment.
