In The shadows

Joseph M Marion

In shadows deep where silence lay,

A man once wandered, lost, astray.

His world was cloaked in endless night,

No star to guide, no hint of light.

Then came a lady, soft and bright,

A beacon born from purest light.

Her smile, a flame that pierced the gloom,

A dawn that chased away the doom.

She stepped into his shadowed space,

And filled the dark with gentle grace.

Her laughter, like a silver stream,

Awoke his heart from endless dream.

Her eyes, twin lanterns burning clear,

Showed paths where hope could reappear.

With every word, with every glance,

She led him out of dark’s expanse.

No longer lost, no longer blind,

He found the strength she helped unbind.

For in her light, so fierce and true,

He found himself, and life anew.

A lady’s glow, a guiding star,

That healed his wounds and raised the bar.

From darkest night to brightest day,

She showed the man the way, the way.

Well written. Your poem emphasizes how one person's love can illuminate the path for another, leading to healing and self-discovery.

This poem has a supernatural feel and spiritual sense to it. Nicely crafted
