Sorry God

Shaunmatthewcpoetry

Felt that some past decisions have been killing my soul,

We receive his forgiveness anyway, I know, I know.

Still, there's no excuse when changes need to be made,

Reality is becoming more eerie with each forthcoming decade.

Sorry God, guess I disappoint both fathers sometimes,

Trying to make you understand me with just a few lines.

It's not the quantity, it's the quality...

A most poetic petition for forgiveness for being human. Nicely written

Shaun, this speaks to that place where you know forgiveness is there… but you still feel the weight of your own choices. That internal struggle comes through clearly. Powerful write. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦‍⬛

Is "God" really disappointed with this world? Maybe he`s just taking his time? What does he want? Does he even want anything? "His ways are past finding out."
Great write, Shaun, you pulled this response out of me.

So many questions yes, I ponder many of them myself, thank you.
