Losing it

2781

Losing my mind?

That's not my belief:)

I can still chew, without a mouthful of teeth.

Looking into the mirror

I find some relief...

The past has passed..

And doesn't exist in my dreams.

The ravages of time in this poem of aging with or without grace. Lovely

Valiantstar, this has a sharp, almost playful edge to it…like it’s dancing right on the line between instability and control. There’s something defiant in the tone, especially in that opening question. It lands with a kind of crooked confidence. Strong piece. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦‍⬛
