the richest finger
continues to pull more strings
when is it enough?

Never enough! And who would want to be sentenced to that kind of a life? Not that I haven`t wrestled with insatiable hungers myself.
Eh to me I see it as you have the ability to write poems, I have the ability to write poems and yet we both take the time to read each others. Understanding the give and take of life truly leads to things just being enough
Well said, Demar. Keep the rhymes coming.
This senryu is a commentary on avarice and greed in society. Nicely done Demar
Thanks for teaching me a new word today
Most welcome Demar
Yeah. This tracks and hits exactly as it should. Bravo! 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛

Sadly we’re always left wanting more, hard to have self control. Nice poem Demar.
Interesting times we are in Allie… I might get to a point where I’m living in the mountains with nothing at all… okay maybe some boxers and a book…
That sounds like paradise, maybe I’ll find my way out in the wilderness too.
Well said.
