recross
nature wisely prevents crosswires
and so, some groups part ways
timing and reason all considered
that is all at once sad and pragmatic
the sentimentalist within rails on, so
but the inner realist grasps the deal
perhaps some day paths will recross

Well thought out this poem presents human relationships as electrical in nature, at times needing insulation from one another and although the poem seems to look forward to future crossings I see it as leading sparks (be they good or bad) and a possible short in the system. Nicely done my friend and a fave
Most thankful for cracking that open with such eloquence, my friend ππ»ποΈ
Always a pleasure my friend
Thereβs a quiet maturity in thisβfeeling the ache, but still honoring the necessity of distance.

most welcome
Arqios, this speaks to me. There have been people whose paths diverged from mine not because anyone was wrong, but because life simply carried us in different directions. The poem captures that bittersweet acceptance beautifully. Powerful work, my friend. πΉπ€ππ―οΈπ¦ββ¬

An sad fact of life in separations .
I had Old friends I hope to see again.
Even though they live at the other end of the Country. Good Write.
It's a hope that grows as the days get shorter, as well. I hear you friend. πποΈ
A moving piece, really well written. Sometimes people drift apart. Life just works that way sometimes, doesn't it?
