And another one

Hold my glass out for more

Watch them as they pour

Will I get up from my chair?

Not anytime soon but I’ll get there

I hope your break isn’t to long, this poem was great. These days I’m taking three drinks and I’m passing out

        • Allie561

I hope so too Demar, life just seems to take up so much time. All too real, hope you’ll still be careful though haha

Are you more of a schedule type of person or just showing up and let time fly by? Then again I wouldn’t want you to consider coming on to this website like clocking in for a shift but the more consistency from poets the better we become! Take care A

I try to have schedules but I often can’t stick to it, when I’m not writing on here I do write in my notebook. I agree with your statement about consistency though! Thanks Demar, take care as well.

Nothing wrong with being possessed of a warm dreamy glow when the chair is comfortable and the environment safe.

I suppose you’re right about that, we all deserve a break now and then.
