Life is full of challenges; wouldn’t you agree? One minute you’re doing your absolute best and then it comes to a halt oh so suddenly. The fall doesn’t matter it’s all in how you rise; remembering you belong to God and knowing you will be just fine. We each have a past that most likely isn’t picture perfect; it’s in our adversity where we are to learn from each other; help each other; and remember we are worth it. It’s in our struggles where we can learn from one another. To be there when we see a hurting, sister or brother. Life’s challenges are never easy but never more so than when you feel alone. Prayer. Faith. Trust in God. Is how our love deepens for Him; and continues to grow. Life’s challenges to an outsider may seem like a piece of cake. To the one facing it though? They’ve most likely had all that He or She can take. No past is perfect in any one of us; and to remember one may not have the entire truth is a must. Am I perfect? Far from it. Never claimed to be. I’m better than the woman I was though; thanks to God and His love and mercy. Life’s challenges are enough without having to prove oneself to anyone; in the end all that will count is this; did you get right with God? The Almighty One?

- Comment from author about the poem: Adversity is how humans connect. We can learn from one another; we have all been through something that changed us. How we grew. How we healed. Those are key factors in helping at least one human struggling. Isn’t that God’s work? Seeing a human struggling and doing your best to help him or her? Yes there’s free will. One can’t impose on another’s life; you don’t know unless you lived through it. Nor do you know if you can help if you don’t ask. We have all sinned. We all fall short at times.

A poem of faith in a higher power and that this will carry you through. Nicely composed it expresses belief and trust. Well done
Good write GS.
Meanwhile, I say to KP:' You know I'm perfect, my dear!' (heehee).
Sharon, there’s a grounded honesty in this that really lands. The way you speak to struggle, growth, and supporting one another carries a steady encouragement throughout. It feels personal, but also open to others walking their own path. Beautifully done, my friend. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛
