Our Time

jenny.g

Sparkles of sunlight dazzle my sight

Sweet little kisses of morning light

The moss so thick and green and luscious

Like comfy little fairy cushions

The air feels cool and frosty crisp

I breath it deep through dewy lips

This is our time, you and I

This secret, special time of day

When all is quiet and fairy’s play

Your fluffy paws, my favourite sound

The gentle padding on the ground

It feels as if the whole world rests

It’s just us two and that’s the best
