Over the years!

Framed Mirror

Over the years when light met darkness,
The classic tales began to dance in madness,
To the moonlight and the summers,
To the heavens and the earth’s matters,
Parting the mighty seas, and the wolves,
The uneven numbers of hauls.

Mysteries creating mistrust by the name of the law,
Forces playing dualities in the prominent fall,
Fire and cotton burning the mutton, like a rotten past,
The lightning stars and the dark night scars.

Where will you end up? In heaven or in hell?
A question to answer at the border when hearing the bell!
If one from the game was missing, what good that it will do?
If a test wasn’t given, what lessons would be made for?

For practice makes perfect, as the saying goes,
But later it will say that the ‘almost perfect’ does more!
For the fractions of perfect imperfections,
Writes the imperfectly perfect legendary fiction!

Thus, portraits been hung beneath,
And bind the arrows of the souls that breathe,
To craft like the dark shadows creep in sleep,
To adore as in secrets hidden down deep,
As certain dark things are to be adored in weep:
Between the shadows and the souls as cuddling sheep!

This poem blends the magic of dualities with issues of heaven or hell. It speaks of shadows and uncertainties and the tendencies of people to act as sheep. Nicely done
