Who I Am (Holy Spirit Bomb)

Shaunmatthewcpoetry

An LFC fan who gets excited to go the pub, watch football and drink beer,

No longer give my energy to those things as a change was set to come here.

A rebellious mindset that was implanted from the very start,

Always felt different than most and completely set apart.

I knew that those lockdowns were a test from world leaders,

Masks, swabs, social distancing and vaccination procedures.

An awakening occurred that led me to believe in a higher power,

People turned against me, my views left them feeling sour.

I'm not judging and move on because that bright son was shone,

A powerful realisation of who I am now hit like a Holy Spirit bomb.

This poem gives new meaning to spirit. It reports an awakening from manipulative and controlling powers. Nicely written

The discovery of faith? Never happened to me, but if it has done something for you, stay with it.

Yes pal, it was weird I have to admit but everything happens for a reason I guess.

Shaun, there’s a clear throughline of transformation here…moving from one way of living into something more grounded in who you feel you are now. That sense of being set apart, even when it costs something socially, gives it weight. Strong piece, my friend. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦‍⬛

Thanks pal, did you go through something similar? Does seem like people are being pulled in one way or another.
