Happily ever after

Cindy

There once lived a girl

In a city like any other

In a house like any other

In a neighborhood like any other

There once lived a girl

With a life that seemed ordinary

But it wasn’t really

Once you stepped into her shoes

And saw the world through her eyes

There once lived a girl

With all the hope and will

To try

That now vanished

Falling into the eternal void

There once lived a girl

Where darkness held her hand

Dragging her into the unknown

Left together to live

As I read this poem it seems as though each of these were separate girls that were all dragged together to live happily with each other. A most interesting point that those that have something in common can relate.
