LOVES DYING DAYS

nephilim56 ( Norman Dickson)

Do not weep
As scattered remnants fly
Blown by the breeze
A love that died
A strength that once
Unbreakable seemed
Reflecting now
As if a dream.

The timeless sky
Looks down with haste
Its tear ridden eyes
In sorrow based
The moving leaves
A waltz to make
From pavement to gutter
On roads to face.

The birds they sing
The flowers awake
Two broken hearts
A lovers fate
Solemn steps
Which lead both ways
Far apart
Loves dying days.

Norman this poem casts a solemn shadow using personification and maybe animism it speaks of love that has died. Well written with good rhyme it is most poetic.

Good write N. I wish I hadn't got that No.7 bus. Someone sitting in front of me had some awful pongy food he was eating. I'm gonna be sick! lol.

This poem reminds a person that nothing lasts forever. Even in true love.
