Tune: O Waly Waly
('An upper room did our Lord prepare')
John 13 v.1-14 parts
************
Jesus would love disciples to end
To them He would lovingly tend
In humble service He washed their feet
Dried them with towel, then took His seat
Though Peter, he said, No, not so, Lord
You shall ne'er wash my feet, his word
Jesus said, If I do wash them not
You have no part in me, no lot
After feet washing, Jesus said, Do
You know what I have done to you?
You call me Master and Lord, and true
It be, for so I am to you
If I then, your Lord and Master here
Have washed your feet, you ought to share
In washing one another's feet, so
Humble service each other do

A great story that I remember well from the New Testament Well written Orchi humility and service key elements in the teachings of Christ
Thank you SB. Dunno why KP complains about the sewage. I only serve it to her, to keep her humble. lol.
You are welcome Orchi it that what they call humble pie
Excellent, O🙏🏻🕊️
Thank you A.
Welcome O🕊️🙏🏻
Orchi, this always hits me…the idea that service isn’t optional, it’s defining. The way you present it keeps that clarity intact…simple, but not shallow. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛
Even with Peter O Waly Waly wailing and Popeyeus turning the moment into some kind of sacred demonstration gone sideways…towels flying, orders shouted, theology debated mid-glug…the truth of what you wrote doesn’t budge. That says something. 😂🥬🙏
Thank you T.
Has Popeye an extra name now - Popeyeus Waly Maximus, etc...?
A new technique that be added to his name, is it? The Waly Wailing Glug Technique. What is that? WCAT!
