Where the foam of the sea meets the frothing surf of sky's clouds
Two mirrors laid face to face and what lies between but blue
until the shadows creep in leaving mist between the two
Undulating breakers wash heaven, bathing God's hanging shrouds
Between reflective faces lay dark dreams in rolling billows
Fogged glass spaces blur tired eyes obscuring vision
No lit beacon's beam pierces watery walls division
Pressed between sea and sky, in heaven or deep one finds sleep's pillows

Thank you Norman for the read and kind words of support and encouragement
you are most welcome
Unfathomable image of immensity that yearns for the fall and resurrection of the soul .
Thanks Lorenz your reads are always most anticipated and valued depths matter not whether sky or deep.
I love how the image is fully developed here, so delectable, Soren🕊️🙏🏻
Thank you my friend for the review and comment your words are deeply appreciated
Most welcome, dear Soren🕊️🙏🏻
Soren, reading this felt like being suspended in a place I’ve known… that in-between where direction blurs and everything feels both above and below at once. The fog, the division, the stillness… it’s all very real in its own way. Strong piece, my friend, a fave. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛
Thank you Tristan for the read and comment it is most valued and appreciated
The central idea of the poem revolves around the interplay between the sea and the sky, exploring themes of reflection, duality, and the transient nature of dreams and consciousness. The poet delves into the relationship between these two vast elements, highlighting how they interact, reflect, and obscure one another, ultimately leading to a contemplation of sleep and dreams as a space between reality and the subconscious.
Thank you Friendship for your read and interpretation of this piece your words are valued deeply my friend
