New Thunder

Kurt Philip Behm

A troubadour wanders

through star laden space

Absorbing new light

from destiny’s face

The truest reflection

opaque at the heart

Intrepid attacking

repelling the dark

As hope and a memory

marry within

Strings of eternity

tune on the wind

Where off in a storm cloud

the Jester forays

And wrapped in new thunder

— a violin plays

Kurt, that image of the violin wrapped in thunder is excelletโ€ฆ it brings everything together in one striking moment. Sound, storm, and presence all fused into something alive. Beautifully done. ๐ŸŒน๐Ÿ–ค๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ•ฏ๏ธ๐Ÿฆโ€โฌ›

So glad it resonated, thanks. Scarlet Rivera was Bob Dylan's violinist.

This one I can picture in my mind Kurt and it is cosmic but at the same time real. Well written
