The things I fear when it comes to you. I fear I'll never have a chance to truly be yours, I fear you'll never see me as a man, I fear I'll lose you to an actual man. I'm not sure what it really is between us. I know forsure we aren't dating. But there's them time when you whisper the sweetest things in my ear but at times it comes to mind as the sweet nothings. I know you love me,we have this spark we become drawn to one another, but then that fear comes along with questioning. I fear I'll never be enough,I fear I'll never have you as mine. I fear you'll never give me a chance. So should I smile because we are friends or cry cause that's all we'll ever be.

The fear of loss is a primary fear we all have and why Buddhists believe that having no desire is the key to enlightenment. Here the fear of loosing love is paramount and such insecurity is expressed. Nicely done
