Choices
How do I say the words to lift you up tonight?
Do I comfort your egos blinded hollow sight?
or do I tell you and bring the truth to light?
Perhaps I should just distance from you,
let your thoughts guide your emotions view,
let you land on the other side of what's true.
Choices.
What do I choose?
Weakened
Cover me with fondness and kindness,
leave me then in despair.
Show me how much you love me,
then how you don't even care.
I'm lonely without you.
Stuck by your side.
I'm weak not strong.
My self respect has died.
Hip hip hooray
Hip hip hooray the atom bombs drop today,
obliteration, inhalation, death comes our way.
Like red balloons that floated above on by,
today is our day to finally happily die.
Blow our bodies and blow our minds to pieces,
today Humanities existence it ceases.
Hip hip hooray.

Here a trio of poems that seem unrelated but maybe not. choices lead to foolishness and finally destruction. Nicely done
