Why do you believe? A question most recently asked of me. He saved my life! You weren’t there to witness nor see. What lead you to God? A question asked frequently? I made some wrong decisions in my life. I was hurting and hurt others too. I was lead to His word. He showed me the truth. I didn’t like who I had become. Allowing my hurt to remain bottled up. I was never a picture perfect woman. I have learned I am forgiven. So in fact are the rest of His children. You can’t force someone to change. I’m told almost daily. I don’t force anything. I merely speak the truth faithfully. You learn the most about yourself when you’re alone with God. He gets right to the root of who you are. Does this then mean I am completely healed and free from any trials? No. In fact there’s twice as many roadblocks as there are smiles. You’re crazy! So far away from me you’ll stay. Except; you didn’t like me even before God lead me back to my faith. That’s ok. I’ve more than accepted the truth for what it is; He saved my life by giving up His.

Good write GS.
Thank you
Well said.
A strong statement of faith and conviction. Well written Sharon
Sharon, I know that kind of turningβ¦when you look at who you were and who youβre becoming, and realize grace met you there. It doesnβt erase the roadblocks, but it changes how you walk them. This speaks to me. Strong piece. May you have a profoundly meaningful Good Friday, my friend. πΉπ€ππ―οΈπ¦ββ¬
