Taboo Love by Nikolay Dorizo

Ksey_Gan

So many golden lights around

Glow in the streets of Petersburg..

So many bachelors abound,

Yet I love a married man - I'm doddering.

Too  early  he start a family set -

A sorrowful tale, indeed my fault.

I hide my love even from myself,

And from him—ever most of all.

I long to flee from  the moment,

He comes into view nevertheless.

For what if all the things, I keep silent,

Should suddenly reveal himselves?

I must not look upon his  view:

I fear that I might catch his eye.

I can handle this love alone through,

But together—we could never shy.
