Burn and Consume

Alex PB

Notice of absence from Alex PB
Writin' more and more poems is my job,
I shall write when Shakespeare is back.

Breathe me in,

I'm already ashes,

Fill your lungs,

Smoke and fantasies,

Let me consume you,

My body yearns for you,

I am desperate for your message,

I am desperate to burn,

Let us do it again,

Break me, ignore and ignite me,

Cheeks but no lips,

Miss me but hate me,

I am nothing but yours,

Crazy in the silence of chaos.

Who needs Shakespeare when you have poems like this

  • sorenbarrett

Immolation in the process of fixation and passion. A statement of being smitten and consumed by desire. Well done
