    Makes sense I have many scars both outside and inside the outer ones fade more. Nicely written in so few words

    Do we ever really heal then?

      Sometimes yes and sometimes no. Some scars fade away with passage of time but the permanent ones don't. The best we can do is to learn the lesson and move on.
