I'll be publishing some works over the next few days then I'll take my LOA for a while.
Jesus rose for you.
Not just for the polished,
not just for the few,
but the broken, the lost,
and the doubting ones too.
From the ends of the city
to a quiet back pew,
from the ones full of faith
to the ones with no clue
He carried that cross
with your name in His view,
every nail, every scar,
every pain He went through.
They thought it was done,
said his time was all through,
laid him down in the dark
where no life could break through.
Stone rolled in place,
guards stood in their view,
like death had the final say
like it always knew.
But death made a claim
it could never make true…
’Cause the grave couldn’t hold
what the heavens once knew.
On the third day morning,
with the sky split in two,
light stepped out of the dark
and it started brand new.
Stone rolled aside,
not a whisper, but BOOM,
life walked out of the grave
and it shattered the tomb.
Now tell me what do you do
when the impossible’s true?
When the dead start to rise
and He’s calling for you?
So whether you doubt,
or your faith’s overdue,
whether pain’s got you stuck
and you don’t have a clue
Hear this clear,
let it cut right through:
He didn’t just rise…
He rose for you.
