Yearning

Atticus_made

Darkness all around  the face I miss,

heart throbbing at the thought,

the time will never be now,

how could I act like a fool,

a cow.

My Idiocy pushes me further away,

leading everything I've ever wanted astray,

reaching for the brightness that is you,

waiting for you to open that door.

Waiting but never moving,

staying,

never improving.

  • Comment from author about the poem: I am lacking a lot of creativity lately, and I think I should at least go back to my old style. It felt more honest and more like me, though I have been afraid of some judgement, I think I should push that aside and instead write what I really want to! I hope you all understand!

A poem of being possessed and captured by another. Nicely written

Thank you! I wasn't to sure what I should even write about with such a topic, however I think it is acceptable, not amazing but it is something

You are most welcome it is when we are not sure of what to write that we are most open to finding a good topic.
