Darkness all around the face I miss,
heart throbbing at the thought,
the time will never be now,
how could I act like a fool,
a cow.
My Idiocy pushes me further away,
leading everything I've ever wanted astray,
reaching for the brightness that is you,
waiting for you to open that door.
Waiting but never moving,
staying,
never improving.

- Comment from author about the poem: I am lacking a lot of creativity lately, and I think I should at least go back to my old style. It felt more honest and more like me, though I have been afraid of some judgement, I think I should push that aside and instead write what I really want to! I hope you all understand!
