Verging On The Edge Of Sanity

Shaunmatthewcpoetry

Once God wakes you up there's no going back,

Pray before sleep so those demons don't attack.

Prepare for an Outworld invasion like Mortal Kombat,

Shang Tsung better stop and turn around, that's that.

Sometimes feel like I'm verging on the edge of sanity,

Mind, body and soul underwent a spiritual calamity.

A chemical imbalance is their only medical explanation,

Duped into believing lies, played like a Sony PlayStation.

Psychosis changed Shaun but that's not the whole story,

Snapped me out of my long slumber and now I'm over 40.

A poetic religious conversion. Nicely said.

Glad it worked out for you, mate - just don't send it over to me...
Insiders view of psychosis you give in some of your work. Valuable just for that alone.

    FATALITY!

Sorry I couldn't resist, given the picture! 🤣 Shaun, this comes through raw and direct…there’s no filter on it, just you laying it out as it is. That honesty carries weight. Strong piece, my friend. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦‍⬛
