Night fell, and
You were so quiet,
As I ran my fingers
Through your
Soft, dark hair.
You leaned in
To kiss me,
And it felt
Like melting
Into the universe.
I thought 'I love you',
As you stared at me
With Sphinxlike eyes,
Rich, warm, and
Achingly beautiful.
I laid my head
Against your chest,
Inhaling the scent
Of earth and spice,
Jasmine and tack.
Then woke, bereft,
To find that
The wound inside me
Had once again,
Been torn open.

Damn
Damn good or damn bad? 🙈
Damn great… made me sad… made me feel. Masterpiece again… you really should change your bio I dislike liars!
It's not lies! I could change it to 'mediocre' instead of 'bad', but that's as far as I'm willing to go 😂
I'm so glad you liked it ♥️
I respect your humbleness…
Beautiful
