Who Are You?
A mere mortal, for all he is,
Is a lover fore the heart jumps and yearns at his fair lady.
A castanet full of passion,
Clipping and snapping,
Fencing against whom thou standest opposite.
Castle walls upon years of building,
A goddess broke down and made pillow of rock.
A gentleman is what I strive to be,
Romantic towards life for the woman he pines for,
Made such grass and trees brighter,
The ladybug wishes to be obtained and picked like a strawberry which color she makes me.
So whoever standeth opposed crying “Who art thou?!”
His name shall be cleared in love for how his fair Persephone makes him stand right.

- Comment from author about the poem: This poem is for and towards my special woman. To keep her name and self safe, I named her as a nickname in our relationship, Persephone. Ladybugs and Strawberries are her favorite things. If you're reading this, I Love You Persephone, always and forever my dear.
