Notice of absence from Tristan Robert Lange
Friends, I’m doing my best to keep up with comments. 😅 I’m still current on my own poems and first replies on others’ work, but this season has been a bit of a twister. Figured I’d drop a quick note so you don’t think I’ve vanished or gone flaky.
Read. Write. Rise. Realize. 🤘💀🖤

a secret meeting.
a deception-filled turret.
plotting commences.
downstairs at breakfast,
the faithful gather—reflect—
who next to betray?

Well said and succinctly so. Big fan of brevity!
Thank you, Katie. Much appreciated, my friend! 🕯️🍞👁️🙏
Betrayal fresh as each new day from others and even at times from self🙏🏻🕊️
My friend, yeah…this is real. It’s not just what others do…it’s catching yourself in it too. That’s the part people don’t always want to admit. Appreciate you naming it. Rock on, Rik! 🕯️🍞👁️🙏
lol I wander🤔 🌹
My friend, haha…yeah, same here. Sometimes that’s exactly where the mind goes. Rock on, Teddy! 🕯️🍞👁️🙏
This feels so religious
Yeah, I totally get that read, Demar. Religion is human, so yeah…it shows up there. For me it’s really about the human tension underneath it all…just happens to wear that coat along with many others. Glad you named it, my friend. 🕯️🍞👁️🙏
Ha I watched my first episode a little while back .. feels like another day in the office .. Nice One too my friend .. Neville 🖤👍
Great show, isn't it? I actually love the UK version the best...honestly...though who doesn't love Alan and Lala? LOL! Both versions rock. And what a view of humanity in all its, well, complexity. A great social experiment for sure. Thank you, Neville! Glad it delivered! I figured at least one person would recognize the inspiration and I am glad you did. 🕯️🍞👁️🙏
That traitorous glugger. He was going to not glug for a week - but no, he failed! lol.
My friend, haha…that promise didn’t stand a chance, did it? The “not for a week” turning into instant failure is too real...as we all know he (and we knows who he is)...can't stop glugging for a second, let alone a minute, or a day or...well you get it. 🤣 🕯️🍞👁️🙏
This sounds like a conspiracy in its own wordings. It is a bit dark and suspect. Well written my friend. Sorry for the late response but I have been traveling for the past two days and no access to wifi
Soren, I appreciate that…“dark and suspect” is exactly the lane it’s moving in. And no worries at all on the delay…travel will pull you away from everything. Hope your travels are safe. Means a lot you still came back to it, my friend. 🕯️🍞👁️🙏
You are most welcome Tristan
Well written. Your poem "The Traitors" explores themes of betrayal, secrecy, and the dynamics of loyalty among individuals. It suggests a tension between outward appearances of faithfulness and the hidden agendas that can lead to treachery.
My friend, thank you…really appreciate you sitting with it like that. That tension you pointed to is exactly where it lives for me…something I’ve seen play out enough to recognize. Glad it came through. 🕯️🍞👁️🙏
betrayal portrayed so beautifully with such few words - fantastic
