Eyes Lips Hair

Arun Kumar Siliveru

Feeling her eyes as a safe home

nebulas bloomed in her eyes

and got frozen giving birth to sapphires

forgetting their duty to give birth to an another star.

Not just the hair strands

but the threads of fate

directly woven by the three sisters

Clotho, Lachesis and Atropos

with each haircut judging

the fates of mortals.

She has bow shaped lips

the words spoken out in calmness

strikes like a cupids  arrows,

and the words spoken out in anger

strikes like  a sharp bolt of lightning

creating natural calamities.
