When I first met Stacey,
She seemed quite basey,
In fact she was so
beautiful in her facey,
And a body that was
quite racey,
Maybe looking good
in some lacey,
I thought she had the
heart of gracey,
Instead this person took
what I wrote mocking
my writing and gossiping
to all she could show that was quite spacey,
Now I don’t mind too much because she is crazey,
Like most women in this
here world who are plain
old lazey,
This person who I will
now call out to her Facey!
Don not “The Don”
A Don

- Comment from author about the poem: This women was my physical therapist and hinted as women do that she was interested in me. Then when I expressed my feelings for her she ran back to her coworkers and made fun of me. Which is all good. But I think I’m a confirmed bachelor from now on! Period. And at 68 I’ve had a few Loves in my life and a bunch of adventures! In fact soon as I recover I’m selling my Townhome and traveling over to Ireland to visit my homeland! Don

This was a fun read that tells its story well in rhyme. It is quirky and amusing but at the same time a bit sad. Well done
It was meant to be kind of tongue in cheek!
But it did hurt a bit. Just tired of what I call a TAWS! Yep I made up an anagram for this type of woman. A,
Typical
American
Woman
Syndrome! Period.
Thing is that with the insane internet, nowadays most every Woman all around the World are TAWS. Because women do take notes. Don
Difficult indeed
Great to know you are still around - haven't heard from you for years. I really cannot advise on affairs of the heart. Can be an enigma beyond my comprehension. You've struggled, but you've survived - that is the thought you must retain. Take care anyway.
Thank You very much there, and for a few years I was on a roadtrip all across the USA!
Now I am back in North Carolina and I have bought my son’s Townhome. Just enjoying life and looking for that future Mrs Ex!
Because I want to be married for the 2nd and final time. Don
May your quest see success, Don.
