And as I rage against this grief
there is little light
yet what must behold the ending
was also once the beginning
and don't forget it had a middle
If every ending is a full stop
then...
I rage
I rage
life and death cannot defy such
from a soul that wishes to be forever tucked into
wonderful memories of those left behind
so although I rage at this grief
I also have such memories
warm and loving
enough to carry on
and when my last day takes me to the other side
I shall go quietly
because I know that like my own memories
my full stop is not my end.

This is beautiful Teddy. You capture grief and death in a unique and reassuring way. Kudos
Thank you so much Katie B 🌹
Nicely said my friend. We are all on a journey that has no end and had no beginning. Our life but a middle between two eternities.
And the legacy we get to leave behind, thank you my dear sorrenbarret 🌹
You are most welcome my friend
beautifully expressed - and your views are surely worth a second thought - keep them coming
Thank you dear NafisaSB I'll always try 🌹
that's the spirit - stay happy, blessed and creative
Dearest Teddy…man, this is powerful. That tension between the rage and the acceptance…you can feel both pulling at the same time. It’s honest in a way that doesn’t try to clean grief up. I love this. Beautiful piece. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛
Thank you dear Tristan. 🌹
