Black Screens

Shaunmatthewcpoetry

All these black screens are making my eyes twitch,

Who scribes on darkness like an old and evil witch?

Reality feels upside down similar to buildings in Inception,

Are human minds really killing or is it demonic possession?

I question things when most of the others stay still and silent,

Not everyone with mental health problems is actually violent.

Find it doubtful that we can really leave this bloody atmosphere,

NASA and Jack Parsons are occultists but nothing to see here.

Who goes against the agendas and flips them on their head?

The super rich are building bunkers so what fills them with dread?

Ominous is the feel of this piece. Well written

Shaun, this carries that constant questioning energy…like nothing is settled and everything is up for challenge. The way it moves from one thought to the next keeps that tension alive, and that line about not staying silent really anchors it. It feels raw, but intentional. Powerful piece, my friend. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦‍⬛
