In the violet sky , lucent crescent
Brighter sun in summer pleasant
Ma, put bindi on your forehead
For you I brought the red .
Papeeha's music so sweet
Chorus of birds' tweet
A song let your bangles sing
Where' re the tinkling toe ring.
Your eyes're wet in sawan
No hues on chunri in fagun
Hair 's been losing fragrance
Why ? I can't make sense .

I lost my father just yesterday, and this is very beautiful condolences to the girl. 🌹
So sad .
We all are in that line . All have to go .
Yes here we are just walking a passage 💜
This is most beautiful in its imagery of a culture poorly known in the west. It is softly sad and so nicely written. A fave

You are most welcome
Beautifully written.
Thank you so much
Priya, this carries that gentle, loving tone while quietly revealing something deeper…like noticing the small changes in someone close to you and not quite understanding why. The beauty of the imagery and that underlying concern work really well together. Beautifully done, my friend. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛
