His place

2781

Cry in anguish

You brought me for this place

The place of refection

That every man must face

With head between knees

Dare not look up

For this is the moment

We drink from the cup

Drinking unworthy

Is a foolish act

But in this moment

We find none of that

We do what we must do

To find mercy,  and grace

And when the time comes

We are flat on our face...

I love the mix in this poem so nicely worded and metered

    Well written.

Valiantstar, this hit me hard…that raw posture of surrender, head down and unable to look up, makes the whole moment feel stripped and real. It carries that sense of facing something unavoidable, searching for mercy in the middle of it. It’s heavy, honest, and it lingers. Strong work. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦‍⬛

repentance, surrender, mercy - all so well portrayed here...
