Who's scared of not being fully politically correct?
Have the woke mob pissed off all those feelings yet?
Some parents teach kids there's more than a male and female sex,
Sit and wonder, what other bullshit will they be coming up with next?
Mostly toxic food on shelves but the trading standards won't do shit,
Samuel L Jackson and Olivia Coleman advertise Warburtons, look into it.
I go shopping but can only see skinny jeans and tight boxers,
They want our balls tied up in a noose, no real shockers.
I'm righteous and read conspiracies, born to win and not lose,
This society is pathetic and mollycoddled, cancel me for my views.
Anger leaves us seething, agendas behind everything pushed,
A godless Babylonian epicentre but he'll never leave us, shush.

Controlling the tongue is the first step in controlling the mind which is exactly what powerful people want over weak followers. Very nicely done a fave
Indeed and thanks very much, glad it resonated.
You are most welcome
Shaun, this feels like those moments where the world just feels overwhelming and nothing lines up the way it should. That urge to call it all out, to push back against everything at once…there’s something very human in that release. Well done. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛
Thanks pal, I got anger off someone over on Allpoetry for this one lol.
Oh. That doesn't surprise me. But...that also means your poem evoked reaction...which is what good poetry does. So...when framed that way. Yay! Right?!?! LOL! 😂 Most welcome, Shaun!
Haha true and cheers again.
Good write SM. Is it like this wherever a certain one has 'gone home' to?! lol.
Hahaha.
Yes, it's said by some folk that if aliens come to this planet, they will take one look, then turn back and go home again! And not only a certain one who has gone home already! lol.
🫰That's how I be feeling real poetic 🤏🫰
I'm glad you feel the same 🙂
