Driving life's road, pulling a heavy load, I watched trucks and cars coming on
My past approaching, upon me encroaching, fear it did spawn
As it passed by, in a blink of an eye it was gone
Speeding so fast ahead amassed lines of cars a rolled truck of Exon
In a traffic jam of time speeding is a crime, one can not turn around
In life's lane one must remain, all four wheels on the ground
So in life's traffic I am holographic, I await a prisoner of fait
Resting on the side board of a Ford plate as vulture bait

Thanks so much Priya for your read and interpretation it is most valued
This took me a while to understand. I'm not sure if I understood it right. Your poem seems to revolve around the journey of life, the weight of past experiences, and the inevitability of time. The poet reflects on how one navigates through life, dealing with the pressures and fears that come from encountering one’s past and the relentless forward motion of time. The metaphor of traffic symbolizes life's challenges, the passage of time, and the inability to turn back once choices are made.
Thank you so much Friendship for your read and interpretation that is on the right road and going the right direction indeed. It is most appreciated and valued
Isn't there always oncoming traffic? Great write Soren.
Thank you Katie yes there is always oncoming traffic. Time never stops
Soren, lands…there’s a restless movement in this that never settles. It feels like being carried forward whether you’re ready or not, with no real control over the pace. That tension sticks. A fave. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛
